Our client needed a gear replaced. A gear printed in PLA may not be strong enough, but it can be used to make a mold, that in turn can be used to cast a gear made from industrial tool-grade epoxy.
A client needed a conceptual prototype printed. Time was of the essence, and budget was limited (as things normally go). After a few phone calls, emails, and very rough sketches (just see images attached!), our client literally had these prototypes in their hands within a matter of days (including shipping from Cape Town to Johannesburg).
